Something about the truth...
When we were young, maybe around primary school age, we were taught to always tell the truth. It's interesting now, to see who tells the truth. Most people lie at least once a day, if not more. Lying in our culture is something everyone has assimilated to. People lie to protect themselves first, and then lie to protect others, or protect relationships and feelings. No one is perfect, but some of us try to always tell the truth. For example, haven't lied today, but then again it's only 10:22.
Telling the truth isn't hard, not matter if do you do things for peoples opinions (which I highly recommend you not do). But even so, wouldn't you want people to know you as someone they could talk to honesty, someone who is respected because they always tell the truth? I would. And personally, all of my most trusted friends don't lie, and they have become family no matter what hardships we've been through.
